Five content origins

• Source fact — a faithful statement from an identified document or provider.
• Deterministic calculation — code applies a versioned rule to visible inputs.
• Versioned educational rule — reusable, reviewed teaching content for a stable concept or metric.
• AI-assisted interpretation — a bounded explanation generated from cited company evidence and structured context.
• Editorial review — content created or materially changed by a human reviewer.

Sources and evidence

Primary filings and issuer documents are preferred for company facts. Each material claim should expose a source, date, support type and relevant excerpt. Conflicting, stale or incomplete evidence lowers the evidence-strength label or blocks publication for review.

Calculations

Financial metrics and valuation outputs are calculated by deterministic, testable code. Inputs retain period, unit, currency and lineage. The language model does not calculate DCF, fair value, ratios or returns and cannot invent missing values.

Scenarios, not predictions

Valuation presents a cautious, base and optimistic scenario to teach sensitivity to assumptions. A scenario is not selected as most likely, and the range is not an instruction or probability. Reverse DCF explains what assumptions the current price would require under the stated model.

Why it matters

Each material conclusion begins with a short mechanism, then exposes evidence, counterpoints, what could change the assessment and limitations. Possible pressure can be upward, downward, mixed, uncertain or none; it is not a forecast or signal.

AI-assisted explanations

News, events and political disclosures can receive a source-item-specific explanation. Outputs must use known evidence IDs, state missing information and enter review when support is insufficient. Results are versioned and cached in snapshots; no model runs when a reader opens a page.

Freshness, corrections and history

Reports expose data dates, partial or stale status and methodology versions. Material source, prompt, model or calculation changes create new lineage rather than silently overwriting history. Corrections can withdraw a current snapshot while retaining an audit trail.

Regulatory and editorial gate

The factual-versus-opinion distinction, issuer-specific valuation formats, author identity, interests and conflicts require qualified legal classification before public launch. Methodology transparency supports that review but does not by itself change the legal character of content.
